Report of the Director of Park and Recreations Re: Funding Program for Replacement of Trees in the City Mr. Patton presented the staff report regarding this matter outlining the removal and replacement program, the cost of Phase I, and recommended approval of the Program. Mr. Jim Hobbs, 1915 Foxswallow Circle, asked how the City maintained trees. Mr. Patton informed him the City has no equipment for pruning tall trees. Mr. Edgar stated that maintenance equipment would be considered for purchase at Budget hearings in the Spring. It was moved by Councilman Pearson, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that Resolution No. 73-25, approving the Tree Funding Program in the City, as outlined in the City Manager's report dated 2-16-73, be adopted.
