Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. Mr. Edgar stated that staff is requesting a continuance for 30 days in order to complete the studies for this area. It is the staff's feeling that this matter can be brought before the Council at that time. Mr. Edgar further stated that adoption of an ordinance extending this Study District for 30 days would be in order. It was moved by Councilman Kinney and seconded by Councilman Herlihy that the public hearing on this matter be closed. Mayor Reid declared the public hearing on this matter open. Mr. Edgar presented the report on this matter from the Planning Commission, which stated that at their meeting of December 12, 1972, the Planning Commission continued Study District Area D for 90 days, pending completion of the General Plan review by our consultants, Livingston & Blayney. Mr. Edgar indicated that an urgency ordinance to continue this matter would be in order. 2 . 1/8/73
