169 <br /> <br /> M~.~ John D!manto, representing Willow-West, asked if the revised General Plan <br />would change the zoning on his firm's property~ He was advised that the proposed <br />plan under dXscussion would not go into effect until after an economic. analysis <br />had been a~Lcomplished=. Furthermore, the law provides a reasonable time within <br />which to revise zoning to make it consistent with the General Plato It was under- <br />stood that Willow-West was going to seek a rezoning in order to change some of <br />the uses presently allowed at their site. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mike Hemp, 7551 Driftwood Way, expressed confusion regarding the Citizens <br />General Plan Review Committee's input to the City Council. He felt their report <br />should be considered as submitted and not changed, if the staff disagreed they <br />should make their own report° The document is the result of many hours of hard <br />work by meaningful people and should be given due consideration as presented. <br /> <br /> Mrl~ James Trimingham, Co-Chairman of the Citizens General Plan Review Committee, <br />stated that ~he report submitted to the City Council was the consensus of the <br />majority of members of the Committee. He stated it was his understanding the City <br />staff was going to make their own report, and the points of difference between the <br />reports would be made separately, and he urged the Council to be fully aware of <br />the points of difference made by the General Plan Review Committee. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Reid, that the <br />public hearing be closed~ <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Reid, and seconded by Councilman <br />Mori, that Resolution Noo 73-192, a resolution tentatively adopting a revised General <br />Plan for the City of Pleasanton, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT': None <br /> <br /> The City Council expressed their desire to reactivate the Citizens General Plan <br />Review Committee and begin anew in order to proceed to the next phase of the General <br />Plan Review which involves the economic analysis° <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />~~oof .Ordinance No...719~ approving PUD-7.3-2~ Valley ~ealty~ ~.inal development <br />~or ti0n of property located at the Northwest corner o.f Valle~ Avenue and <br />Sant__/aRi.%a Roa~ Pleasant0p, Cpnta.ining 5.8 acres.~ more or less <br /> Mr~ Edgar stated this ordinance had been introduced at the meeting of December 10, <br />1973~ be a 4-1 vote° <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that Ordi- <br />nance Noo 719, approving PUD-73-2, Valley Realty, final development plan for a <br />portion of property located at the Northwest corner of Valley Avenue and Santa Rita <br />Rcad~ containing approximately 5.8 acres, more or less, be adopted. <br />The ~oil call vote was as follows: <br />AYES~ Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: Councilman Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />SPECIAL.
