Martinelli, 7280 Valley Trails Drive <br /> Terry Taff, 3774 Platt Court North <br /> Ken Smith, 3271 Cablis Court <br /> Sophia Eury, 7221 Valley Trails Drive <br /> Linda Sitzman, 7199 Valley Irails Drive <br /> James Gentile, 7271 Valley Trails Drive <br /> Steve Holmes, 7292 Valley Trails Drive <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Council- <br />woman LeClaire, to deny the application of Graham-Hitch Mortuary for General Plan <br />amendment for that 2.1 acre parcel of land lying immediately northwesterly of the <br />intersection of Hopyard Road and Valley Trails Drive South. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br />Resolution Noo 74-122, requesting the Planning Commission to initiate zoning <br />studies for the entire area surrounding Hopyard Road and Valley Trails Drive <br />South, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori recessed the meeting at 9:50 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori reconvened the meeting at 10:00 P.M. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Presentation by Hank Cupples~ Re: Holdin~ Tank Agreement <br /> Mr. Hank Cupples, representing Valley Realty, stated he addressed the City <br />Council on May 13, 1974, regarding the Northwest corner of the Western Sierra <br />property located at Valley Avenue and Santa Rita Road relative to the holding <br />tank agreement. At that time he suggested a change in the wording in paragraphs <br />6 and 7 of the Agreement that would be agreeable to his proposed tenant and lend- <br />ing institution for development of this property. Mr. Cupples stated he had met <br />with the City Attorney but was still not satisfied with the verbage of paragraph 7. <br /> <br /> After lengthy discussion, it was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by <br />Councilman Kinney, authorizing the Mayor to execute the Agreement between City and <br />Henry Cuppies fo~ Holding Tank, subject to working out the details of the disputed <br />section of the Agreement with the City Attorney. <br />The roll ca~l vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mone <br /> <br />Review and Authorize execution of Exclusive Franchise with Pleasanton Garbage <br />Service for HoldinE Tank Service <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report, dated May 22, 1974, regarding this matter. <br />He also pr~esented fee schedule and letter to Pleasanton Garbage Service regarding <br />Letter of Cz'ad~t. <br /> <br /> 6. 5/29/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
