Proclaim June 14, 1974, as Flag Day. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire (ex.cept items 4g & k), <br /> Councilman Philcox, and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilwoman LeClaire voted No on items g and k of the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br /> SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br /> Councilman Kinney read a resolution commending Ken Mercer and Bob Caporusso <br /> for their achievement in winning the First Annual Alameda County Civic Tennis <br /> Tournament~ <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, to <br /> adopt Resolution No. 74-107, commending Pleasanton representatives Ken Mercer <br /> and Bob Caporusso for winning the First Annual Alameda County Civic Tennis <br /> Tournament,~ <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: C.~ncilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br /> NOES: None <br />ABSE~I: None <br /> <br />~EPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Repor~ Re: Redevelopment Survey Ar~ <br /> Mr. Bowling presented the staff report, dated May 24, 1974, regarding this <br />matter, stating that on May 9, 1974, Council introduced an ordinance declaring <br />the need for a Redevelopment Agency to function in the City of Pleasanton and <br />declared the City Council to be the Agency, and that now the survey area should <br />be designated. <br /> <br /> Mr. Scheidig explained the action necessary to designate the redevelopment <br />area. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that <br />Resolution No. 74-108, designating a survey area for project study purposes - <br />Old Town and northwest portion of the City, and authorizing the City Attorney <br />to retain - on an advisory and as needed basis - Mr. Joseph Coomes and Bill <br />Holliman of McDonough, Holland, Schwartz and Allen of Sacramento, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 2. 5/29/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
