<br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG
<br /> Mayor Floyd Mori called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at
<br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
<br />
<br /> ROLL CALL
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and Mayor
<br />Mori, were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr.
<br />Campbell, Assistant CityManager/Director of Public Works, Mr. Bowling, Director
<br />of Housing and Community Development, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, Mr. Sooby,
<br />Director of Engineering Service, Mr. Miller and Mr. Walker, Assistants to the City
<br />Manager, were present.

<br />AGENDAAMENDMENTS
<br /> Mr. Edgar requested that an item be added to the Consent Calendar as 4m -
<br /> Proclaiming June 14, 1974, as Flay Day.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Edgar requested that a Special Presentation be made after approval of the
<br /> Consent Calendar.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Edgar requested that item 9c - Report, Re: Revelopment Survey Area, be
<br /> heard after the Special Presentation.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Edgar requested that item 5b - Application of Patrick Gill to rezone from
<br />the A (Agricultural) to the I-P (Industrial Park) or I-G (General Industrial) Dis-
<br />trict approx. 11.1 acres of land located immediately east of the Southern Pacific
<br />Railroad tracks and approx. 680 feet northwest of the intersection of Oakland Ave-
<br />nue and Mohr Avenue, be continued to June 10, 1974.
<br />
<br /> Mr, Edgar stated that with regard to item lOa, Consideration of 1973 Uniform
<br />Building Code, making findings of local conditions and setting public hearing for
<br />June 24, 1974, the date of the public hearing should be corrected to be heard on
<br />July 8, 1974.

<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that the
<br />following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved as amended:
<br />
<br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for May 13, 1974.
<br />
<br />b. Authorize execution of Quitclaim Deed from City of Mr. and Mrs. David Li,
<br />
<br /> Acceptance of Deed from Morrison Homes.
<br />
<br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 723, declaring the need for a Redevelopment Agency
<br /> to function in the City of Pleasanton and declaring the City Council to be
<br /> the Agency.
<br />
<br />e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 724, amending Section 2-15.03, Article 1 (Sewer
<br /> Service Charges) and Section 2-15.13, Article 2 (Sewer Connection Fees), of
<br /> Chapter 8 (Sewage), Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton
<br /> relating to Sewer Connection Fees.

<br />f~ Adoption of Ordinance No. 725, amending Section 2-15.03, Article 1 (Sewer
<br /> Service Charges) and Sections 2-15.13 and 2-15.14, Article 2 (Sewer Connection
<br /> Fees), of Chapter 8 (Sewage), Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordi-
<br /> nance Code of the City of Pleasanton relating to Sewer Service Charges, Sewer
<br /> Connection Fees and Special Fund.
