The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LaCla,re, Councilman PhilcQx~ <br /> and Mayor Mori <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Presentation by Hank Cupples, Re: Holding Tank Agreement <br /> Mr. 'Hank Cupplea, representing Valley Realty, addressed the city Council regar'd~ <br /> ing the Northwest corner of the Western Sierra property located at Valley Avenue and <br /> Santa Rite Road relative to the holding tank agreement. He suggested a change in ~he <br /> wording in paragraphs 6 and 7 of the Agreement that would be agreeable to his prO- <br /> posed tenant and lending institution for development Of this property. The item was <br /> continued to the meeting of May 29, 1974, for further study. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> Application of John and William Busch for an amendment to the General Plan to the <br /> city of Pleasanton 'for that 25.4 acres of land located immediately south of MobS' <br /> Avenue and East of the Southern Pacific Railroad ~racks <br /> Mr. Harris presented the staff report dated May"7, !~7~ and displayed map regard- <br /> ing this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing closed, <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by CounCilman Herlihy, that Reso~ <br /> lution No. 74-89, approving the application of John and William Busch for anamendment <br /> to the General Plan to the City of Pleasanton for that 2~.4 acres of land located <br /> immediately south of Mohr Avenue and East of the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks, be <br /> adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClalre, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of Joseph Madden for an amendment to the GeDera~ Plan of the City of <br />Pleasanton for tho'Se two' parcels of land to~alin~ appr~+~'eiy 5 acres ~n si~e* <br /> located between Santa Ri'ta Epad a~d the Tassaaara'Cad~,l,'~pp~tnmtei~"900/fee~' <br /> South of Highway 1-580 <br /> Mr. Harris presented the staff report dated May 7, 1974~ add displayed map regard- <br /> ing this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Joseph Madden, 3851 Vineyard Avenue, owner of the property, stated he concurred <br />with the staff report. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, that <br />Resolution No. 74-89, approving the application of Joseph Madden for an amendment <br />to the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton for those two parcels of land <br />ing approximately 5 acres in size located between Santa Rite Road and the TasSaJara <br />Canal, approximately 900 feet South of Highway 1-580, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 2. 5/13/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
