Denial of Claim of Bruce Judd ' Mr. Scheidig reviewed the background of this claim, stating that the City's insurance agent recommends denial of claim. Mr. Scheidig recommended that the Council deny this claim and refer to the City Attorney for handling. It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, te deny the claim of Bruce Judd and refer it to the City Attorney for handling. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: .... The League would like to have comments from local governments to be communicated to the East Bay Division by Friday, April 26. COMMUN I CAT ION S Le~tter from Amador-Livermore Valley Historical Society, Re: Assistance Mr. Edga~ recommended that this matter be referred to the Park and Recreation Commission, to be considered for co-sponsorship. Mayor Meri stated that the Historical Ordinance should be acted upon, and asked that a letter be drafted to Mr. Jamieson, President ef the Amador- Livermere Valley Historical Society for the Mayor's signature regarding this matter. Mr. Edgar stated he would check with the County regarding plans for organizing a committee with regard to the 1976 Centennial. CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS C'ou~cil~oman LeClaire reported en her attendance at a luncheon with Congressman Stark, regarding discussion with BART and AC Transit officials, at which time it was indicated that local bus feeder service is antici- pated by November of this year. Councilwoman LeClaire also reported that the Community Concerns Committee requests that Council appoint a Vice- Chairman to ~hat committee. She also noted that the Community Concerns Committee meeting will be held May 15, rather than April 25, as noted on the Consent Calendar. Councilman Philcox reported en the Housing Authority. He also stated that the Chamber ef Commerce is hosting the Zone. 7 candidates April 23. Councilman Herlihy asked to withhold his report regarding the Fair Liaison Committee.
