meeting of February 13, 1974, an application of City of Livermore through the ABAG <br /> Metropolitan Clearinghouse to the FAA for a grant to conduct a master plan and land <br /> use study of the Livermore Airport was reviewed~ The Connnission endorsed Livermorets <br /> grant request with the ~tipulation that Pleasanton has meaningful input into the <br /> study program. The Commission felt it imperative that Pleasanton be kept completely <br /> informed and consulted on all phases of this study which would affect the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Reid, and seconded by Councilman <br /> Herlihy, to table the reports of the Senior Planner; authorize the Mayor to write <br /> to the PUC requesting that they withhold action on the application of the commercial <br /> air carrier to conduct regular commuter air service between the Livermore Airport <br /> until after completion of an Airport Master Plan; and authorize the Mayor to communi- <br /> cate to the City of Livermore and ABAG the City of Pleasanton's support of Livermorets <br /> application for Federal Grant for Airport Master Plan and Land Use Study and express <br /> the desire to participate in the study. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Pearson recessed the meeting at 9:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pearson reconvened the meeting at 9:10 P.Me <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS (Contd.) <br />Report of the Planning Commission~ Re: Development Plan and Revitalization Program <br />for the Central Business District <br /> Mayor Pearson requested this item be continued to a study session with the new <br />City Council after March 5, 1974~ <br /> <br />Report of the Planning Commission~ Re: .General Plans for: (1) Mission Hill Park~ <br /> (2) Moller Park; (3) Oakhill ~ark,. ~nd (4) Woodthrush Park <br /> A1 Dutchover, Engineering Department, presented general plans and displayed draw- <br />ings for Mission Hill Park, Moller Park, Oakhill Par~, and Woodthrush Park. <br /> <br /> Mr. Norm Gravelie, 7381 Jaybrook Gourt, President of Stoneridge Homeowners <br />Association, stated this group supports the Moller Park plans and pledge their <br />cooperation in the speedy development of this Park. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br />Resolution No. 74-27, approving the General Plans for Mission Hill Park, Moller <br />Park, Oakhill Park, and Woodthrush Park, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Edgar stated he would be attending the Annual Meeting of the City Managers' <br />Meeting of the League of California Cities in Newport Beach, February 27th through <br />March 1st, 1974. <br /> <br />Progress Report Re: Gasoline Shortage <br /> Mr. Edgar presented his report in cooperation with the Tri-Valley Dealers' <br />Association, stating what steps had been taken to alleviate the gasoline shortage <br />situation. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, approving <br />the staff report, and commending staff and service station operators on their <br />efforts in this regard. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilman Reid requested that service station hours be publicized immediately <br />for the convenience of the community. <br /> <br /> 3. 2/25/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
