<br />Report~ Re: Amendment to the Rate Schedule in Hol.din~ Tank F.ran~h~Se Agreement
<br /> Mr, Scheidig presented his report, dated October 8, 1974, regarding this
<br />matter, stating that the City has received a request from Pleasanton Garbage
<br />Company, Inc., to amend the rate schedule under their holding tank franchise
<br />agreement. ~
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by CouncilWoman LeClaire,
<br />approving the modification of the agreement for holding tank franchise dated
<br />May 29, 1974, between the City of Pleasanton and Pleasanton Garbage Service,
<br />Inc., to allow a new rate structure, and authorizing the Mayor to execute said
<br />modification.

<br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS
<br /> Councilman Herlihy reports on the COVA meeting of October 10, 1974, stating
<br />that minor changes had been made to the propOSed Bylaws and Budget, which would
<br />be presented to the Council later for review.
<br />
<br /> Councilwoman LeClaire reported on the Management Seminar hel~ September 26
<br />and 27, 1974, stating it was profitable, a good exchange of ideas, and opened up
<br />communication channels.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Mori reported on his trip to Sacramento on October 11, 1974, where
<br />he discussed the pending project report with the State Regional Water Quality
<br />Control Board. Representatives of the State Board agreed to be present at ~he
<br />joint meeting with V.C.S.D. on October 18, 1974.
<br />
<br /> Mayor bbri also reported that he stopped by the Cal Trans Office but no
<br />decision has been reached yet on the widening of 1-580.
