It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that Ordinance No. 741, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, prozoning from A (Agricultural as defined by the Zoning Code of the County of Alameda) District to Q (Rock, Sand and Gravel Extraction) District, an area of approximately 1,750 acres bounded on the north by the Arroyo Mocho and a line representing its eastern extension between the northern extension of Martin Avenue and the eastern boundary line of the East Bay Regional Park District; on the east by the eastern boundary of the East Bay Regional Park District and the western boundary of the Livermore Park and Recreation District; on the soui~.h by ~he channel of the Arroyo del Valle, Shadow Cliffs Regional Park, Stanley Blvd., and the Cit~ Limit line of the City of Pleasanton; and on the west. by Martin Avenue and its northern and southern extensions, excluding the Thorpe and Busch Properties, and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly, be introduced.
