<br /> Mr. Harris presented the staff report, dated August 20, 1974, regarding this
<br /> matter.

<br /> It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire,
<br /> that Resolution No. 74-166, supporting local efforts and programs to provide
<br /> housing for low and moderate income persons, be adopted, with the exception of
<br /> paragraphs 4d and 4e, in the resolution of the Bay Area Planning Directors
<br /> Association.
<br /> The roll call vote was as follows:
<br /> AYES: Councilman Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and
<br /> Mayor Mori
<br /> NOES: None

<br /> Mr. Sooby presented the staff report, dated August 20, 1974, regarding this

<br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that
<br />the bid including optiopal items of work, be awarded to Steiny and Company of
<br />Vallejo, in the amount of $73,865.00, and the Mayor be authorized to execute
<br />agreement.
<br /> The roll call vote was as follows:

<br /> Mayor Mori

<br />Review of Bids and Award of Contract for purchase of one Leaf-Loader
<br /> Mr. Miller presented the staff report, dated August 22, 1974, regarding this
<br />matter.
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that
<br />the bids for purchase of one Leaf-Loader be awarded to Western Traction Company,
<br />in the amount of $6,368.70.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:

<br />Establishment of 1974-75 Tax Rate
<br /> Mr. Walker presented the staff report, dated August 19, 1974, regarding this
<br />matter.

<br /> Council concurred they needed additional time for review of this item, and
<br />Mayor Mori declared the matter continued to an Adjourned Regular Meeting to be
<br />held at 5:00 P.M., August 29, 1974, Pleasanton Justice Court.

<br />Report, Re: Amendments to Resolution No. 70-26~ Traffic Resolution
<br /> Mr. Sooby presented the staff report, dated May 23, 1974, regarding this
<br />matter.
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire,
<br />that Resolution No. 74-167, amending Resolution No. 70-26, Traffic Resolution,
<br />Section 4, Mid-block Crosswalks of the subject resolution by deletion of:
<br />"4h-1 HoByard Road approximately halfway between the Pleasanton Canal and the
<br />Arroyo Mocho", and by addition of: "4n-1 Nevis Street crossing Nevis Street
<br />approximately 350 feet easterly of Santa Rita Road, and connecting with a
<br />walkway from Nevis Street to Alisal School grounds", be adopted.
