<br /> Mr. Harris presented the staff report, dated July 17, 1974, regarding this matter.

<br /> Mayor Mori asked if anyone wished to speak at this public hearing.

<br /> Messrs. Pritchett and Naugle spoke.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing closed.
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilwoman LeClaire, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that
<br />the application of Naugle, Pritchett and Lows to fezone approx. 10 acres of land
<br />located immediately west of Foothill Road, approx. 1,000 feet north of Bernal Avenue
<br />from A (Agricultural) District to R-l-40 District, be tabled indefinitely.

<br /> Mr. Edgar presented two communications received this date from Raymond H. Rathj~n,
<br />4047 Graham Street, and Mr. & Mrs. Charles P. Wipfli, 4031 Graham Street, writing in
<br />favor of Richard Guasco.

<br /> Mr. Harris presented the staff report dated July 9, 1974, regarding this matter,
<br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open.
<br />
<br /> Mrs. Janet Willjams, owner of property behind 4039 Graham Street, stated the rea-
<br />son for appealing the Variance was because it was not in the best interests of property
<br />in the area and it was an invasion of privary, and she urged Council not to allow t is
<br />home addition.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Richard Guasco, 4039 Graham Street, stated he needed the extra room, could not
<br />afford to buy elsewhere, and felt this was a solution that would be satisfactory be-
<br />cause of the lot shape.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Scheidig informed the Council of the findings necessary for the granting of a
<br />Variance.
