It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that <br /> Ordinance No. 730, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br /> amending Sections 2-6.02 and 2-6.03 of Article 4 (Agricultural District), Section <br /> 2-7.08 of Article 8 (C-Commercial Districts), and Section 2-7.21(1) of Article 9 <br /> (I-Industrial Districts), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) of <br /> the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton relating to wood sales, administra- <br /> tive offices and saddlerfes as permitted or conditionally permitted uses, be <br />· introduced. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and <br /> Mayor Mori <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Kinney <br /> <br /> Application of Ralph P. Juhl~ D.D.S. to rezone from the A (Agricultural) District <br /> fo the 0 (Office) DistriCt, apRrox. 2.4 acres Of va~t land ~cated at the sOuth- <br /> west corner of Black Avenue and Santa Rita Road <br /> Mr. Harris presented the staff report, dated July 2, 1974, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Judge William Gale, representing the applicant, stated he would answer any <br /> question regarding this application. <br /> <br /> No one spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mort declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire that <br /> Ordinance No. 731, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br /> rezoning from A (Agricultural) to 0 (Office) an approximately 2.4 acre parcel of <br /> land located immediately west of Santa Rita Road and 310 feet south of Black Ave- <br /> nue, and amending the Ordinance Code and Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton <br /> accordingly, be introduced. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and <br /> Mayor Mori <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Kinney <br /> <br /> Application of Nau~le~ Prttchett and Lows to rezone approx. 10 acres of land <br /> located immediately. west of Foothill Road~ approx. 1~.000 ft. north of Bernal <br /> Avenue from A (A~ricultural) District to R-1-40 District <br /> Mayor Mort declared the public hearing open, and continued to the meeting <br /> of July 22, 1974, at 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Justice Court. <br /> <br /> An ordinance extending for a one (1) year period "S" (Study) District on property <br /> located in Zoning Maps 133 and 134 (Mission Park and qualified Investors) pursuant <br /> to Section 65858 of the Government Code <br /> Mr. Harris presented the staff report, dated June 26, 1974, regarding this <br /> matter, stating that on October 29, 1973, the Council extended for eight months <br /> an interim ordinance amending, by zoning unit maps 133 (Qualified Investments <br /> Property) and 134 (Study District D), the zoning map of the City of Pleasanton <br /> and rezoning certain properties within the City of Pleasanton from the RM-1500, <br /> RM-2500 and RM-4000 (Multiple Family) Districts, R-1-6500 (Single Family) Dis- <br /> trict and A (Agricultural) District to S (Study) District and amending the <br /> Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton accordingly. It is now necessary to <br /> consider a further extension of the Study District since the conditions for the <br /> establishment of the original Study District still remain. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori delcared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. John Corley, Attorney representing Mission Park Property, stated his <br /> client felt the entire property should be restored to its original zoning, <br /> for potential development, since it had already been in the Study District for <br /> sometime. <br /> <br /> 3, 7/8/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
