Overcrossing
Mr. Edgar stated the purpose of this item was to determine whether it is neces-
sary to hold a full Public Hearing regarding this matter. He further stated a
Public Meeting had been held on May 1, 1975, to answer questions of interest and
concern to residents of the City. Mr. Edgar added that eight of the twelve who
signed a petition requesting a Public Hearing had withdrawn their signatures from
the petition. He presented the steps necessary to conduct a Public Hearing,
which would be quite lengthy and delay the project.

Mr. Frank Brandes, 6889 Corte Sonada, stated he had withdrawn his name from
the petition since sufficient information had been provided at the meeting of
May 1, 1975.

The following persons indicated that they were opposed to the project and
favored a Public Hearing:

Mrs. Diane M. Coleman, 4041 Jackie Court
Mr. Terrell R. Further-
more, the Council noted that an Environmental Impact Report would not address the
question of financing the Overcrossing - the major concern expressed by the
speakers.

2. 5/12/75
