It was moved by Councilwoman LeClaire, and seconded by Councilman McLain, that Resolution Noo 75-77, establishing Underground Utility District No. 75-1, on Santa Rita Road from the Arroyo del Valle to the Western Pacific Railroad right-of-way, be adopted. It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilman McLain, that Resolution No. 75-78, establishing Underground Utility District No. 75-2, on Abbie Street from Main Street to First Street, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney NOES: None ABSENT: None ~doption of City of Pleasanton 1975-76 Preliminary Budget Mro Edgar stated the Preliminary Budget had been reviewed by all Boards and Commission and the public at various meetings. He presented a communication from Val Vista Homeowners Association urging that park priority commitments be continued. Mayor Kinney delcared the public hearing open. Mr. Don $avery, 6738 Rancho Court, representing Val Vista Homeowners Association, spoke in support of neighborhood parks, and urged they be considered a high priority item. Mrs. Barbara Van Slyke, 5755 San Antonio Street, representing Pleasanton Art League, urged approval of Cultural Arts Building as soon as possible as it is urgently needed for classes for all age groups. Mrs° Charlotte Severin, 4513 Mirador Drive, representing Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council, stated she felt priorities should be kept as set and that there was a great need for the Cultural Arts Center. Mrs. Dean Wise, 4837 Muirwood Drive, representing Pleasanton National Little League, voiced concern over the need for additional Little League fields to ad- vance this program and urged Council to consider further development of the Youth Sports Park. 2. 4/14/75
