<br /> SWEARING IN OF F, ROGER McLAIN AS COUNCILMAN
<br /> City Clerk Mr. Edgar administered the Loyalty Oath to F. Roger McLain, as
<br /> Councilman for the City of Pleasanton, filling the unexpired term of Floyd Mori,
<br /> said term to expire March, 1976. Councilman McLain introduced his family. He
<br /> also stated he had been in contact with all the Pleasanton Homeowners Associa-
<br /> tions to improve communications between City Council and the public.
<br />
<br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG
<br /> Mayor Edward Kinney called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order
<br /> at 8:00 P~M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
<br />
<br /> ROLL CALL
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br /> Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney were present.
<br /> Mro Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant City
<br /> Manage~/Di~ector of Public Works, Mr, Bowling, Director of Housing and Community
<br /> Development, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, Mr. Caporusso, Recreation
<br /> Superintendent, and Mr. Walker, Assistant to the City Manager, were present.

<br /> AGENDAAMENDMENTS
<br /> Mr. Edgar requested that two items be added to the agenda as follows:
<br />
<br /> 1. item 7c - Request from the Police Association to hang Banner across Main Street
<br /> to advertise Policeman Ball.
<br />
<br /> 2. Item 10b - Legislation.
<br />
<br /> CONSENT CALENDAR
<br /> it was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that
<br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved, and the agenda as
<br /> amended:
<br />
<br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for March 24 and 31, 1975.
<br />
<br /> b, Adoption of Resolution No. 75-73, approving Claims for the month of March, 1975,
<br /> in the amount of $252,548.52.
<br />
<br /> Proclaim April 20-26, 1975, as Volunteer Week in the City of Pleasanton.
<br />
<br /> Acceptance of Report of the Planning Commission regarding action taken on
<br /> items at their meeting of April 9, 1975.
<br />
<br /> Adoption of Resolution No. 75-74, determining the air quality impact of
<br /> Pleasanton Water Quality Control Program Alternatives 2(b) and 5(b)o
<br />
<br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 75-75, approving progress payment No. 1, to Gene
<br /> Calderia Grading and Paving Company, in the amount of $9,506.56, for work
<br /> completed on Peters Avenue Parking L.I.D.
<br />
<br />! g~ Adoption of Resolution No. 75-76, approving progress payment No. 1, to Tom
<br />i DeHerrera, in the amount of $6,761.11, for work completed on Century Park,
<br />I Phase I.
<br />
