Bota, 2115 Raven Road, representing Pleasanton American Little League, <br /> spoke ~egarding finalization of the Youth Sports Park and the need for this facility. <br /> <br /> Mr, Darwin Clayton, 4202 Echo Court, representing Pleasanton American Little <br />League, expressed the need for more Little League fields. <br /> <br /> Mro Ben Fernandez, President Chamber of Commerce, stated the Chamber passed a <br />resolution encouraging the City of Pleasanton do everything possible to balance the <br />Budget. This group expressed concern over police and fire protection as high <br />priority items. <br /> <br /> Mr~ Jim McDermott, 5598 Corte Sonora, urged support and continuation of youth <br />spo~ts activities in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Council- <br />woman LeClaire, that Resolution No. 75-79, approving the following Capital Improve- <br />ment Program: (1) Walnut Grove Park; (2) Cultural Arts Building; (3) Sports Park, <br />Phase II; (4) Val Vista Park; (5) Hansen Park; (6) Bike Paths; (7) Deep Water Pool; <br />(8) Remodel Housing Authority Office Pro-School; (9) Pave Parking Lot Pleasanton <br />Elementary School; and (10) Windscreen Muirwood Tennis Court, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney recessed the meeting at 9:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney reconvened the meeting at 9:05 P.M. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS~(Contd.) <br />Adoption of City of Pleasant0n 1975-76 PreliminaF~ Bu~et (Contd.) <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Council- <br />woman LeClaire, that Resolution No. 75-80, approving the 1975-76 Preliminary Budget, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of the Plannin~ Commission from Ken Hart to rezone from C-F (Commercial <br />Freeway) District to C-S (Commercial Service) Di~.trict..~ appr~xim~.~ely 9 acres of <br />land located at 3716 Stanley.
