329 <br /> <br />Allocation of Sewage Treatment Capacity at Sunol Boulevard Sewage Treatment Plapt <br />per order of Regional Wa.ter quality Control Board <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the staff report dated March 20, 1975, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell further reviewed the report and presented statistics regarding <br />this item. He recommended that the 250 sewer connections be allocated as follows: <br />(1) Morrison Suit - 79; (2) Industrial and Commercial - 39; (3) Single Family - 75, <br />30 for scattered lots and 45 to H. C. Elliott tract in Vintage Hills; and (4) <br />Multiple - 57.- Mr. Campbell also presented a Chart on the timing of issuance <br />of sewer connection permits. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jack Brae, Architect representing Bindi Restaurant, expressed concern <br />regarding the time element involved in finalization of permits. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jim Wanberg stated it was impossible to get a single family dwelling unit <br />going within the 60-day time limit. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ted Peters stated the time limit was too restrictive. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell explained that sewer connection permits must be issued within the <br />time limit and provision will be made for extension of time for good cause. <br /> <br /> There being no further public testimony, Mayor Kinney declared the public <br />hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Council then discussed the issuance of sewer permits per staff's report and <br />concurred that the Plant was considered technically sound by the Regional Water <br />Quality Control Board to allow 250 sewer connections. The Council recognized a <br />need by the City to continue its monitoring program in order to insure that the <br />Plant continued to operate within required standards. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, <br />that Resolution No. 75-67, approving the staff report and allocating sewer <br />connections as follows: (1) Morrison Suite - 79; (2) Industrialand Commercial - <br />39; (3) Single Family - 75; and (4) Multiple - 57, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and <br /> Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no.Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Approval of Plans and Specificationst Youth Sports Park~ Phase II <br /> Mr. Sooby presented the staff ~eport dated March 13, 1975, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilwoman LeClaire, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, <br /> approving plans and specifications for Youth Sports Park, Phase II, and authoriz- <br /> ing staff to call for bids on this project. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and <br /> Mayor Kinney <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 3. 3/24/75 <br /> <br /> <br />
