The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and <br /> Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of the Planning Commission to rezone from the S (Study) District~ to <br />the R-1-6500 (Single Family) District~ that 17 acre parcel located south of Angela <br />Street~ west of Mirador. prive~ north of Pico Avenue? and immediately east of the <br />former eastern C~.~ Limit Line <br /> Mr, Edgar stated that in view of the fact that no plans were available for this <br />parcel of land and since the Hillside Ordinance had not been completed, the staff <br />requested a change be made in the recommendation as presented in the staff report <br />dated March 5, 1975. Mr. Edgar requested denial of the application and that the <br />City Attorney be instructed to complete the Hillside Ordinance to be reviewed by <br />the Planning Commission at their meeting of April 9, 1975. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Trent R. Pridemore, 4507 Mirador Drive, stated he agreed with the latest <br />staff recommendation, and presented City Council with a written report for the <br />record regarding citizen opposition to the original requested rezoning of R-1-6500. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Jo Harding, 540 E. Angela Street, stated she concurred with the recommen- <br />dation as presented by the City Manager. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Councilman Herlihy suggested that A (Agricultural) zoning be considered for <br />this parcel to allow a better tax break for the owner and in light of the lack <br />of sewer capacity.
