<br /> Communication from CAGE~ Re: Support of AB-2220
<br /> Mr. Edgar presented a letter from Committee Against a Garbage Environment,
<br /> dated July 30, 1975, requesting City Council support of AB-2220, which prohibits
<br /> the establishment of a garbage dump within two miles of any city without the
<br /> consent of the governing body°
<br />
<br /> Councilmember McLain stated he would be in Sacramento on the day of the hear-
<br /> ing and would testify on behalf of the City of Pleasanton if Council so desired.
<br /> Council instructed Councilmember McLain to testify at the hearing.
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire,
<br /> that the City Council support AB 2220, and the appropriate legislators be
<br /> notified°
<br /> The roll call vote was as follows:

<br /> Reintroduction of Ordinance No. 767~ Re: Amendment to Subdivision Ordinance
<br /> relating to Filing of Tentative Subdivision Maps
<br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report regarding this matter, and explained the
<br />change of language in Ordinance No. 767, which was first introduced at the
<br />meeting of July 28, 1975.

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember McLain,
<br />that Ordinance No. 767, to be read by title only and waiving further reading
<br />thereof, amending portions of Chapter 1 (Subdivisions), Title II (Zoning and
<br />Development), of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton, relating to
<br />tentative subdivision maps, be reintroduced.

<br />tentative subdivision maps, be adopted as an urgency measure.

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy,
<br />that Resolution No. 75-170, accepting the purchase of the 3.65+ acres of land east
<br />of 1-680 and west'of the existing Stoneridge Drive, in the amount of $16,425.00,
<br />be adopted,

<br /> Mayor Kinney called the joint meeting of the Pleasanton Redevelopment Agency
<br />and the City Council to order, stating the purpose of this meeting is to conduct
<br />a joint public hearing to consider and act upon the Redevelopment Plan for the
<br />Pleasanton Redevelopment Project and the final Environmental Impact Report on the
<br />kedevelopment Plan.
