<br /> that Resolution No. 75-157, approving Tammen, Johnson, Kinzel and Mimiaga, Con-
<br /> sultants, 710 South Broadway, Walnut Creek, to proceed with the design of sig-
<br /> nalization of Hopyard Road at Johnson Industrial Road, at a cost not to exceed
<br /> $6,300~00, and authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute the con-
<br /> tract, be adopted.

<br /> Mr. BenFernandez, of Cooper, McKenzie and Murphy, answered questions raised
<br /> by Council.
<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herl =y~.,~and seconded by Councilmember McLain,
<br /> authorizing Cooper, McKenzie and Mur~h 6~order the insurance coverage as re-
<br /> commended by the insurance agent, the additional cost for premiums of $12,400.00
<br /> to come from Unallocated Reserves, and instructing the City Manager to discuss
<br /> cooperative self insurance with the City Managers in Alameda County.

<br />Mr. Campbell presented the report of the Director of Field Services dated

<br />Miller, dated June 25, 1975, regarding Youth Summer Employment.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Campbell presented letter from California Water Pollution Control
<br />Association dated June 10, 1975, stating the following City employees had
<br />qualified successfully for Maintenance Certification: Michael W. King,
<br />Maintenance Man II - Grade IV; Thomas R. Netton, Maintenance Man - Grade IV;
<br />James F. Wilbur, Treatment Plant Operator I - Grade IV; Johnnie L. Jones,
<br />Laborer - Grade IV; Arthur W. Moorehead, Maintenance Man II - Grade III; and
<br />John B. McWilliams, Maintenance Man - Grade III.

<br /> Mr~ Campbell presented the staff report dated July 11, 1975, regarding this

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Le-
<br />Claire, that Resolution No. 75-158, approving a budget amendment allocating
<br />$3,500.00 from Capital Improvement Fund to Bicentennial Park to improve the
<br />rear unhnproved portion of Bicentennial Park as outlined in the memorandum of
<br />the Director of Field Services, dated July 11, 1975, be adopted.
