<br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated June 16, 1976, regarding this matter.

<br /> Council discussion ensued regarding what each member considered as adequate
<br />parking space for multiple units.
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Mayor Philcox, that
<br />the report of the Director of Planning dated June 16, 1976, recommending no change
<br />in the parking requirements for the R-M (Multiple Residential) District, be
<br />approved.
<br />
<br /> After further discussion, Councilmember Herlihy withdrew his motion, and Mayor
<br />Philcox withdrew his second to the motion.
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Mayor Philcox, to table
<br />the matter of parking requirements for the RM (Multiple Residential) District
<br />until after conduct of a survey regarding the use of available parking provided
<br />to tenants of multiple dwelling units.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:

<br />Report of the Planning Commission~ Re: Review of Land Uses within the area bounded

<br />listing five alternative approaches in dealing with the problems of development
<br />in the study area.

<br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by
<br />Councilmember LoCiairs, that Resolution No~l~8(a), that the report of the Director
<br />of Planning dated June 16, 1976, be approved, with further consideration of Alter-
<br />nates 1 and 5 at such time as the Planning staff is available for this study, be
<br />adopted.

<br /> Mr. Edgar presented the report of the Park and Recreation Commission dated
<br />June 17, 1976, regarding this matter.

<br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by
<br />Councilmember Herlihy, to accept the report and recommendations of the Park and
<br />Recreation Commission dated June 17, 1976, regarding the 1976-77 Capital Improve-
<br />ment Program of expenditures of $103,900.00 contained in the Capital Improvement
<br />Fund and Neighborhood Park Development Fund for park projects as follows: (1)
<br />Loma Alta Park - $1,700.00; (2) Addition to Deep Water Pool - $22,200.00; (3)
<br />Vintage Hills Park - $12,500~00; (4) Mission Hills Park - $12,500.00; and (5)
<br />Sports and Recreation Park - $55,000.00.
