<br />Public Park Land, The Payment of Fees, or a Combination Thereof), Chapter 1 (Sub-
<br />divisions) of Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance Code of the City
<br />of Pleasanton by amending Subsection (b) relating to in Lieu Fees and by deleting
<br />Subsection (d) relating to Neighborhood Parks, be introduced.

<br />authorizing the City Attorney to inform Mr. Booth, City Attorney for Palo Alto,
<br />of the C~!~s willingness to have its name added to the Amicus Curiae Brief pre-
<br />pared by the Attorney General'$ office, regarding supportlto the City of Palo Alto
<br />in the suit ~f Eldridge vs~ the City of Palo Alto, at no cost to the City of

<br /> Councilmember Brandes reported on the Planning Commission meeting, and stated
<br />that many items were being appealed to the City Council. He questioned the
<br />appeal fee as being insufficient to cover costs incurred by the City related to
<br />these matters°

<br /> Couacii discussion ensued, and staff was instructed to report back to Council
<br />with a fee comparison of other cities in the area regarding this matter.
