MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Herlihy presented his report dated May 12, 1976, suggesting that <br /> the two parks on First Street, which are the property of Southern Pacific, be <br /> placed in a Study District~ <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued and it was determined that Councilmembers Herlihy <br />and Brandes as well as staff would meet with representatives of Southern Pacific <br />to discuss this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer requested that action be taken regarding discussion with <br />the Dublin Historical Preservation Association relative to Fallon House, Council <br />determined that Councilmembers Herlihy and LeClaire would meet with members of the <br />Dublin Historical Preservation Association to discuss this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes requested that Ordinance No. 775, Water Connection Fee <br />Ordinance, be placed on an agenda in the near future for further discussion and <br />review. It was determined this matter would be discussed at the City Council <br />meeting of July 12, 1976. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox stated that a workshop on the provision of sewage treatment <br />should be scheduled as soon as possible. <br /> <br /> The following meetings were scheduled: <br /> <br />June 1, 1976, 8:00 P~M. - Joint meeting with the Park and Recreation Commission <br /> to discuss the Proposed 1976-77 Budget and Capital <br /> Improvements <br /> <br /> Further review and consideration of the City of <br /> Pleasanton proposed 1976-77 PrelIminary Budget, with <br /> specific reference to sewer and water operating fund <br /> and street improvement items <br /> <br />June 2, 1976, 7:30 P.M~ - Discussion regarding alternatives and financing related <br /> to the provision of sewage treatment <br /> <br />June 3, 1976, 8:00 P~M~ - Public Hearing regarding the appeal of the decision of <br /> the City Manager to file a Negative Declaration for <br /> UP-76-11, an application for a Conditional Use Permit <br /> to construct and operate a Service Station on the <br /> Northwest Corner of Hopyard Road and Johnson Indus- <br /> trial Drive <br /> <br /> Executive Session - Labor Relations <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the Calendar for the Council's information. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENF <br /> There being no further business at 12:30 A.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br />Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on June 1, 1976. <br />The r~il cz%l 'vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WILLIAM H~ EDGkR, CfTY CLERK <br /> <br /> 9. 5/24/76 <br /> <br /> <br />
