<br />Report, Re: Amendmen~ to the Traffic Ordinance
<br />M~ Edgar presented the zeport of the Traffic Engineer dated March 22, 1976,
<br />regarding lowering the speed limit on Foothill Road.
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes,
<br />that Ordinance Not 785, to be read by title only and waiving further reading
<br />thereof, amending Chapter VI, Article 2 of the Traffic Ordinance (Title V of
<br />the Municipal Code), reducing the speed limit to 45 MPH on Foothill Road from
<br />Bernal Avenue southerly to the City Limit line, be introduced.

<br />Councilmember LeC!laire, that Resolution No~ 76-115, approving submittal of an
<br />application to the Local Agency Formation Commission to annex property on Santa
<br />Rita Road owned by William Rose, and known as Annexation No. 71, be adopted.
