It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire, <br />to support SB-1401 (Rains). <br />The roll call vote was as fellows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember Herlihy <br />ABSENT: Ncne <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilmembers presented various Con~nittee Reports for the information of the <br />Council. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL M~MBERS <br /> Councilmember Mercer stated he would forward copies of Foran~s Bill, regarding <br />procedure for allocating gas tax, to the City Council as soon as he received it. <br /> <br /> Councilmember LeClaire requested that staff again investigate the cars for <br />sate parked on Hopyard Road and resolve the problem. <br /> <br /> Counci!~embe~ Brandes asked about a Ballot vote on Las Positas Overcrossing~ <br />and also informing the people of the steps being taken to obtain funds for this <br />project< <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he felt that with regard to requesting the <br />resignation of William Thompson from the Housing Authority Board because he <br />lives outside the City Limits, that this matter should be taken care of imme- <br />diately since all other Commissions were required to comply with this ordinance. <br /> <br /> After discussien, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br />Councilmember LeClaire, that the seat of William Thompson on the Housing <br />Authority Board be declared vacant as of May 18, 1976, unless his resignation <br />had been received by that time, and instructed the Mayor to so advise Mr. <br />Thompson~ <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, LeClaire, and Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Herlihy and Mayor Philcox <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mrs Edgar presented the Calendar for the Councilvs information. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being nc further business at 11:20 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br />LeClaire, and secended by Councilmember Herlihy, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again In Adjourned Regular Session at 7:00 P.M., on May 11, 1976. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> 6. 5/10/76 <br /> <br /> <br />
