e. Prepare one legal description for the easements to <br /> be acquired. <br /> <br /> f. Provide forty (40) sets of plans and <br /> specifications for bidding purposes. <br /> <br />Task 3--Bid Period and Construction Period Assistance <br /> <br /> 3.1--Provide Assistance During Bid Period (Maximum cost <br /> ceiling of $7,300) <br /> <br /> a. During bid period, respond to technical questions <br /> from prospective bidders. <br /> <br /> b. Prepare up to one addenda to contract documents if <br /> required. <br /> <br /> c. Assist City staff in evaluating bid proposals. <br /> <br /> 3.2--Provide Assistance During Construction Period <br /> (Maximum cost ceiling of $4,700) <br /> <br /> a. Attend one preconstruction meeting. <br /> <br /> b. Be available for up to four construction site <br /> visits and respond to questions from the City. <br /> <br /> c. Interpret plans and specifications as required by <br /> the City. <br /> <br /> d. Make one final walk-through of project with <br /> construction manager and assist in preparing a <br /> "punch list". <br /> <br />II. SPECIAL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> <br /> Work that cannot be specifically defined at the time of <br />execution of the agreement, will be classified as Special <br />Engineering Services. The costs for Special Engineering Services <br />are not included in the cost ceiling for Article I, PLANNING <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES, and shall be negotiated and authorized <br />separately, if required. Possible categories of extra work <br />applicable to Preliminary Design Services which may be required <br />under Special Engineering Services are: <br /> <br /> 1. Additional aerial photography and mapping. <br /> <br /> 2.
