Mr. Harris presented his staff report dated February 18, 1976, regarding this matter. Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing open. Mr. Leonard A. Sinclair, 589 East Angela Street, asked the purpose of the rezoning. Mr. Sinclair was apprised of the reasons and also advised that the property could not be rezoned to a use inconsistent with the General Plan and after public hearings. There being no further testimony, Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing closed. Councilmember Herlihy moved, and Councilmember McLain seconded, the intro- duction of Ordinance No. 778, to be read by title only and waiving further read- ing thereof, to fezone approximately 32 acres located south of Angela Street, west of Miradot Drive, north of Pico Avenue, and east of Whiting Street, from the S (Study) and R-1-6500 (Single Family Residential) Districts to the A (Agricultural) District, and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly.
