281 <br /> <br /> Dean Morrison, owner of the property, spoke in favor of the amendment. <br /> <br /> No one spoke in opposition to this application. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Philcox, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Herlihy, that Resolution No. 75-7, approving the application of <br />Dean Morrison for an amendment to the Pleaaanton General Plan from High Density <br />Residential to Retail Business and Offices for that approximately two-thirds of <br />an acre parcel of land located on the northeast corner of Hopyard Road and Valley <br />Avenue, containing a vacant lot and the First National Bank of Pleasanton drive- <br />in facility, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br />Application of Ted Myers for a General Plan amendment to ch~ge the land use <br />desi~nation of approxi.ma.te.!y 2°2 acres located between the Vall.ey Plaza com- <br />mercial complex and the E1 Bancho Motel on the west side of Santa Rita Road <br />frog Medium. p.ensity. Residential to Retail Business and Offices <br /> Mr. Harris presented his staff report dated January 2, 1976, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Jack Bras, 90 Mission Drive, representing Ted Myers, spoke in favor of the <br />amendment. <br /> <br /> No one spoke in opposition to the application. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember McLain, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Herlihy, that Resolution No. 76-8, approving the application of <br />Ted Myers for a General Plan amendment to change the land use designation of <br />approximately 2.2 acres located between the Valley Plaza commercial complex <br />and the E1 Rancho Motel on the west side of Santa Rita Road from Medium Density <br />Residential to Retail Business and Offices, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, McLain, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: Councilmember Philcox <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />~doption of Ordinance No. 775, amending in it~ entirety Article 2 (Water <br />.Connection Fee.s)~ Chapt.el..9 (Water.)~ 7itl~ II.
