No one spoke in opposition to this application. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Philcox, and seconded by <br />Councilmember McLain, that Resolution No. 75-6, approving the request of Chris <br />Beratlis, 425 Main Street, for authorization to remove a Heritage Tree, a 15-inch <br />diameter Acacia Tree, from the north side of Angela Street, approxlmately 125 feet <br />west of Main Street, to allow construction of access to the parking lot for a new <br />commercial building to be constructed, be adopted. <br />THe roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: Councilmeraber Herlihy <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br />Application of Spivak Properties to fezone from the A (A~ricultural) Dist.~ict to <br />the C-C ~Central Commercial.) District and P (Public and InstitUtional) District <br />'that approximate 5.2 acre parcel of ~nd.loca. ted immediately east of Hopyard Road <br />and northeast of the First National Bank of Pleasan~pn driVe.-i~ facility~ the <br />western ~pproximately two-thirds of th~ pyoperty wo.u%d be designated a C-C Dis- <br />tr~.gt, the eastern approximately one-third would become a P District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his staff report dated January 2, 1975, regarding this <br />matter and displayed map showing location of the property. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Chris Beratlis, 425 Main Street, representing Spivak Properties, spoke in favor <br />of the rezoning. <br /> <br /> No one spoke in opposition to this application. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Council- <br />member McLain, that Ordinance No. 776, to be read by title only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, to fezone from the A(Agricultural) District to the C-C (Central Com- <br />mercial) District and P (Public and Institutional) District that approximate 5.2 acre <br />parcel of land located immediately east of Hopyard Road and northeast of the First <br />National Bank of Pleasanton drive-in facility; the western approximately two-thirds <br />of the property would be designated a C-C District, the eastern approximately one- <br />third would become a P District, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LoCiairs <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Kinney, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, that the <br />record indicate that it is the City's intent to review this case in approximately <br />two years and to consider rezoning the property if development has not occurred. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br />Application of Morrison Homes for an amendment to the Pleasanton General Plan <br />from High DensitZ Residential to Retail Business and Offices for that approxi- <br />mately two-thirds of an acre parcel of land located on the northeast corner of <br />Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue, containing a vacant lot and the First National <br />Bank of Pleasanton drive-in facility <br /> Mr. Harris presented his staff report dated January 2, 1976, regarding this <br />matter and displayed map showing location of the property. He stated this <br />application was from Dean Morrison and the agenda should be corrected to show <br />him as the applicant instead of Morrison Homes. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> 2. 1/12/76 <br /> <br /> <br />
