MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC Mayor Philcox asked that Item 12 on the agenda, Appointment of Members to the Human Services Commission, be heard at this time. The Mayor indicated that the City Council had previously interviewed eight applicants and each Councilmember submitted a list of the top five. The results were then announced for the record. Phillip Cooper Sharon Kosch Barbara Hemphill Phyllis Bullock Diana Leathers It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire, that Resolutions No. 76-255 through 76-262, appointing the above listed candi- dates along with Dave Shepherd of the Planning Commission, Christine Pearson of the Housing Authority and Kathleen O'Brien of the Park and Recreation Com- mission as Commissioners on the Human Services Commission, be adopted. Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. As no one wished to speak either for or against this request, the public hearing was closed. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, that Resolution No. 76-263, approving the request from Mr. and Mrs. R. Silva, for removal of a Monterey Pine located easterly side yard of 530 East Angela Street, be adopted.
