Pleasanton to allow "automobile washing, including use of mechanical <br />conveyors, blowers and steam cleaners" as a conditional use in the <br />C-C (Central Commercial) District, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmember Brandes <br />NOES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br />Report, Re: Amendment to Resolution No. 68-210, Council Conduct, <br />Procedural Guidelines. <br /> Councilmember LeClaire presented this report dated October 6, <br />1976. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes asked that this matter be postponed to <br />a later meeting to give him time to review this report, as he has <br />been out of town. ~ <br /> <br /> This matter was continued to November 8, 1976. <br /> <br />Parking Requirements for Multiple Residential Developments <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated October 18, 1976, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and <br />seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 76-238, initiating <br />an amendment to the parking requirements for multiple dwelling unit <br />developments to require two parking spaces per unit for dwelling units <br />containing 3 or more bedrooms and that visitor parking in the ratio <br />of one space for each seven units (regardless of size) be provided, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and <br /> Mayor Philcox <br />NOES None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Goals and Policy Statements for Growth Management Program <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated October 19, 1976, on this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> The Council felt that they would prefer to devote an entire <br />meeting to the Growth Management Program in order to review and <br />narrow down the goals and objectives relative to this program. <br /> <br /> November 15, 1976, at 7:30 was set aside as a special meeting <br />to discuss the Growth Management Program; the study session to be <br />held after conducting interviews for the Human Services Commission. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox declared a five minute recess. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions presented at <br />this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Further OralsReport, Re: Ground Water Monitoring Program <br /> Mr. Campbell presented this report, stating that this matter <br />has been dismissed from the agenda. <br /> <br />Further Report, Re: Installation of Smoke Detectors at Komandorski <br />Village <br /> Mr. Edgar presented Mr. Walker's report dated October 21, 1976 <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> 10-26-76 <br /> <br /> <br />
