Mr. Scheidig advised the <br /> time period had passed for appeal and there was nothing else that could be <br /> done. <br /> <br /> Councilmember LeClaire stated she felt the pink stripping on the, sewer <br /> digester was not appropriate. <br /> <br />=~.D Mayor Philcox presented a letter from Phyllis Bullock resigning from the <br />%~ Human Services Commission. Council commended Mrs Bullock for her outstanding <br />~ - <br /> service on this Commission. Council determined to advertise and interview for <br /> filling of this vacancy on the Human Services Commission. <br /> <br /> }~yor Philcox called attention to City Manager Brown's reception on July <br /> 15, 1977, at Century House. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> _ Mr. Campbell presented the Calendar for the Council's information. <br /> <br /> FXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Philcox recessed the meeting at 10:30 P.M., to an Executive Session <br /> to discuss potential litigation regarding proposed ordinances to protect the <br /> proposed residential allocation program and the Referendum of the Council's <br /> approval of amendments to the LAVWMA Joint Powers Agreement. <br /> <br /> .Mayor Philcox reconvened the meeting at 11:20 P.M. <br /> <br /> Ordinances to Protect the Proposed Residential Allocation Program <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report dated June 22, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Robert R. McLeod, 2901 Ptarmigan Drive #1, Walnut Creek, requested that <br /> his 79 acre parcel of property at Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road be exempt from <br /> the Growth ~nagement Plan and this proposed ordinance in order that he might be <br /> able to sell the property for development. <br /> <br /> ~yor Philcox stated the Council could not make a determination on this <br /> m~tter tonight. <br /> <br /> ~. William Hirst, 147 Bernal Avenue, Attorney representing Chris Beratlis, <br /> requested that the parcel of property at the end of San Antonio:~Street be <br /> exempt from the ordinance, and that the Growth Management Plan allow that <br /> consideration be given to special circumstances of certain properties. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gilbert Barbee, Land Surveyor, 147 Bernal Avenue, stated the passage of <br /> this ordinance would seriously affect the Pleasanton portion of his business, <br /> which deals primarily in minor subdivisions. <br /> <br /> 9. 6/27/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
