Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> R. E. Butler, 3831 Pinot Court, speaking on behalf of the Planning Commission, <br /> stated that the Planning Commission concurred with staff in the approval of 2,000 <br /> square foot minimum for office space. <br /> <br /> There being no further public testimony, Mayor Philcox declared the public <br /> hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer stated that the Chamber of Commerce supported the <br /> 2,000 square foot minimum for office space. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by <br />Councilmember LeClaire, as recommended in Planning Commission Resolution No. <br />1516, that Ordinance No. 821, to be read by title only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, deleting Section 2-7.17(1) and amending Section 2-7.20(1)(a), <br />Article 9, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />relating to permitted uses in the I-P (Industrial Park) and I-G (General Indus- <br />trial) Districts, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of the City Council to rezone approximately 53 acres located south <br />of Minnie Street between Sunol Boulevard and the eastern City Limit line from <br />RM-2500 (Multi-Family Residential) District~ R-1-6500 (Single Family Residen- <br />tial) District and A (AgricultUral) District to PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />District or any other Zoning District that the City Council finds is.appropriate <br />(Contd. Rate Increase <br /> Mayor Philcox declared this item continued to the meeting of June 13, 1977, <br />at the request of Councilmember Brandes and agreed to by Pleasanton Garbage <br />Service. <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 820, approving the development plan for Morrison H0mes~_ <br />PUD-77-2~ of a medium density residential .planned unit development proposed to be <br />constructed on a 23 acre parcel of land located on the south side of the Del Valle <br />Parkway immediately east of Hopyard Road~ zoning for the property being Planned <br />Unit Development (Medium Density Resldential)~ subject to conditions as estab- <br />lished by Plannin8 Commission Resolution 1511 (Introduced 5-9-77 by 4-1 vote) <br /> Mayor Philcox stated this ordinance was introduced May 9, 1977, by a 4-1 vote <br />and that it was now in order to adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Olga Morrow, 4593 Del Valle Parkway, representing Pleasanton Safe Streets <br />Association, stated the residents in the area were not opposed to Morrison Homes <br />development but were opposed to the Del Valle Parkway route, and requested City <br />Council to reconsider this matter for alternative routes that would allow for a <br />safer street. <br /> <br /> 5. 5/23/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
