The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember LeClaire <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding septic tank separation requirements, <br />and the present policy of 1,000 feet separation on five acre parcels. <br /> <br /> After review of this matter, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and <br />seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 77-120, amending the <br />Septic Tank policy by removing the 1,000 foot limitation for separation of <br />Septic Tanks and substituting the following considerations to be undertaken <br />by staff: (1) Topography of area, including shape of parcel and location of <br />wells and similar physical characteristics; (2) Location of other inhabited <br />structures; (3) Location of other Septic Tanks; and (4) Percolation rate of <br />soil, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember LeClaire <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Further Discnssion~ Re: Traffic Signal DeSign for Main Street <br /> Mr. Campbell stated that after review of the alternate sketches of the <br />proposed design of the Main Street signal, the Design Review Board, the Chamber <br />of Commerce, and the Downtown Merchants Committee preferred the original design. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, to select the <br />original design for the Main Street traffic signals. <br /> <br /> ?he motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Mayor Philcox, to <br />select Sketch #1 of TJKM's proposals dated April 6, 1977. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmember Mercer and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, and LeClaire <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember <br />Mercer, to select Sketch #2 of TJKM's proposals dated April 6, 1977, with <br />street name affixed to signal, as the Main Street traffic signal design. <br />?he roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />.AZSENT: None <br /> <br />Approval of Section 2!5.6 study~ city street Progress and Needs Report <br /> Mr. Sooby presented his report dated April 19, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, <br />that Resolution No. 77-121, approving the Section 2156 Study, City Street Progress <br />and Needs Report, be adopted. <br /> <br /> 6. 4/25/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
