Adoption of Ordinance No. 818, amending Section 2-7.08(a) (Permitted and <br /> Conditional Uses) of Article 8 (C Commercial Districts), Chapter 2 (Zoning), <br /> Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br /> Pleasanton by adding Guards' Living Quarters. <br /> <br />~ f.~ Adoption of Resolution No. 77-101, approving Progress Payment No, 2, to <br />~'~ Steiny and Company, Inc., in the amount of $6,651.90,~ for work completed on <br />~' Traffic Signals, First and Neal Streets. <br /> <br /> ~ g. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-102, accepting Grant Deed from Jimmie C. and <br /> Ruth A. Balch, for dedication of a public service easement at 255 Kottinger <br /> Drive. <br /> <br /> h. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-103, approving Agreement between City of <br /> Pleasanton and Jay M. Graves, regarding Use of Canine "Cubby" for Police <br /> work. <br /> <br /> i. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-104, approving Progress Payment No. 1, to <br /> Vitton Construction Company, in the amount of $2 753 28, Storm Grate Modi- <br /> fication. <br /> <br /> The rcll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Ms. ~rgaret McClelland, 440 Tyler Avenue, Livermore, representing.the <br /> League of Women Voters of Livermore-Amador Valley, presented a statement to <br /> the City Council requesting that funds be included in next year's budget to <br /> write a safety element in the General Plan for the safety of the citizens. <br /> <br /> PRESENTATION BY VALLEY VOLUNTEER BUREAU <br /> Mrs. Betty Stallings, Director of the Valley Volunteer Bureau, presented <br /> a proposal of this Volunteer Action Group, requesting financial assistance to <br /> carry on this program. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br /> Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 77-105, approving a contribution to <br /> <br /> Fiscal Year 1976-77, and $3,000.00 ~- ..... :,.~-~ra .......... a .... s .... <br /> ~for Fiscal Year 1977-78, be adopted. <br />- The roll call vote was as follo~s: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 2. 4/11/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
