MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL April 11, 1977 CALL TO ORDER Mayor Robert Philcox called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 P.M. FXECUTIVE SESSION ~ Mayor Philcox recessed the meeting to an ExecutiVe SeSsion at 7:01 P.M., to discuss labor negotiations. Mayor Philcox reconvened the meeting at 8:00 P.M. PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Philcox stated the Regular City Council meeting was now in Session at 8:05 P.M., and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Her!ihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present. Mr. Campbell, Acting City }~nager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, Mr. Miller and Mr. Walker, Assistants to the City Manager, were present. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Campbell requested that the following items be added under Reports of the City Attormey: Item 12b - Consideration of Amendment to LAVWMA Joint Powers Agreement. Item 12c - Consideration of SB-443~ Item 12d- Reaffirmation of Original Resolution Re: Park Program. }~yor Philcox requested that the Minutes of March 29, 1977, be amended on page 1 to reflect that Mr. Karskaddon is a Livermore resident. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved' by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved, and the agenda as a~ended: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for M~rch 24, 1977, March 28, 1977, March 29, 1977, as amended, and March 30, 1977. b. Proclaim the Week of April 11-17, 1977, as KQED Week in Pleasanton. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-100, approving Claims for the month of March, 1977, in the amount of $310,517.5~.
