<br />seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 77-76, approving the
<br />following projects listed in priority order of Title 6 CETA funding: (1) Buenas
<br />Vidas Youth Ranch of Livermore, $2,700 for a Clerk/Typist/Bookkeeper; (2) Hot-
<br />line of Pleasanton, $8,876 for two counselors; (3) City of Pleasanton Needs
<br />Assessment Project, $8,278 for two staff workers to gather data and coordinate.
<br />the project; (4) Arc School Learning Disabilities Project, $5,796 for two pro-
<br />ject workers; (5) Senior Citizen Service Center, City of Pleasanton, $6,053 for
<br />a coordinator to set up a center similar to the one now in operation in Liver-
<br />more; (6) City of Pleasanton Park ~intenance, $10,518 for two park maintenance
<br />workers; (7) Mental Health Association, $5,000 for one person to coordinate the
<br />Tri-Valley's two mental health councils;. (8) Arc School, $4,968 for a worker to
<br />build play equipment; (9) Arc School, $5,520 for two staff persons to organize
<br />and operate summer camp program for children aged 5 to 16 with learning dis-
<br />abilities; and (10) Valley Child Care, $4,520 for one worker to train non-
<br />licensed home day-care providers in Pleasanton; total amount of funding
<br />$62,229.00; and that if additional CETA Title VI funds are made available
<br />that County and ACTEB allow new applications to be submitted, and that the
<br />City extend funding for projects that can be extended, be adopted.
