Mrs. Dianne McKenna, Director of the Human Services Commission, stated that <br />more funding was anticipated in September, and that the programs were flexible. <br /> <br /> After considerable discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and <br />seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 77-76, approving the <br />following projects listed in priority order of Title 6 CETA funding: (1) Buenas <br />Vidas Youth Ranch of Livermore, $2,700 for a Clerk/Typist/Bookkeeper; (2) Hot- <br />line of Pleasanton, $8,876 for two counselors; (3) City of Pleasanton Needs <br />Assessment Project, $8,278 for two staff workers to gather data and coordinate. <br />the project; (4) Arc School Learning Disabilities Project, $5,796 for two pro- <br />ject workers; (5) Senior Citizen Service Center, City of Pleasanton, $6,053 for <br />a coordinator to set up a center similar to the one now in operation in Liver- <br />more; (6) City of Pleasanton Park ~intenance, $10,518 for two park maintenance <br />workers; (7) Mental Health Association, $5,000 for one person to coordinate the <br />Tri-Valley's two mental health councils;.
