Application of the Plannin~ Commission to rezone property located in the block <br />bounded bY Augustine Street~ W~st An~ela Street~ the future extension of Peters <br />Avenue and BernaI Avenue from C-C (Central Commercial) District to the RM-4000 <br />or RM-2500 (Multiple Family Residential) District. It is also proposed to <br />adjust the existing O (Office) District boundary on the north side of Bernal <br />Avenue between Main Street and Harrison Street to coincide with the lot lines <br />of all or most of those pr. op~erties with frontage on Bernal Avenue plus <br />Assessor ' s Parcel 94-156-15-5 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated February 9, 1977,' regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> The following persons had questions relative to this item: <br /> <br /> Bob Cordtz, owner of property at 262 West Angela Street <br /> Thurman Claudell, Augustine Street <br /> David Roe, owner of business at 278 West Angela. Street <br /> <br /> There being no further public testimony, Mayor Philcox declared the public <br />hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Ordinance No. 812, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, to rezone from C-C (Central Commercial) District to RM-4000 District, <br />properties bounded by Augustine Str'eet, West Angela Street, the extension of <br />Peters Avenue and a line parallel to Bernal Avenue 150 feet north of Bernal <br />Av.enue; to adjust the O (Office)/P~I-1500 zoning boundary in the area bounded <br />by Bernal Avenue, Harrison Street, West Angela Street and Augustine Street; <br />and to adjust the O/C-C boundary in the area enclosed by Bernal Avenue, Main <br />Street, West Angela Street and the extension of Peters Avenue, and amending the <br />Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox recessed the meeting at 9:10 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox reconvened the meeting at 9:20 P.M. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS (Contd.) <br />Application of the C. ity Council to rezone approximately 53 acres located south <br />of Minnie Street between Sunol Boulevard and the eastern City Limit line from <br />RM-2jO0 (Multi-Family Residential) District~ R-1-65.00 (single Family Residen- <br />tiatlj District and A (Agricultural) District to PUD (Planned Unit Development') <br />District or any other Zoning District that the City Council finds is app.rOpriate <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated February 8, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Y~ or <br /> y Philcox declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> N,~ one in the audience spoke in favor of this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. John P.
