Adoption of Resolution No. 77-310, approving Program Supplement No. 5 to <br /> Local Agency-State Agreement No. 04-5101 for Federal Aid Improvements. <br /> <br />h. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-311, approving Contracts with Alameda County <br /> regarding CETA Contracts. <br /> <br />i. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-312, accepting right-of-way Dedication from <br /> Earl Adams, Old Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />j. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-313, approving lease with Valley Volunteer <br /> Bureau for the building at 519 Kottinger Drive for a period of one year <br /> beginning December 1, 1977, at a cost of $1.00. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Mrs. Susan Scott, 1590 Foothill Road, representing the League of Women <br />Voters, inquired as to when the Safety Element and the Seismic Study of the <br />General Plan would be completed. Mr. Harris advised that the Planning Intern <br />was proceeding on the Safety Element of the General Plan as fast as possible. <br />Discussion ensued regarding cooperation with the County on the Seismic Study. <br />Mrs. Scott thanked Mr. Brown for speaking to the League of Women Voters at <br />their last meeting. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Sandra Cherry, 4149 Moselle Court, representing some concerned citizens, <br />addressed the Council regarding pornographic materials in stores, especially at <br />Express Liquors on First Street, and urged Council to implement an ordinance <br />requiring these materials to be covered. Councilmember Mercer stated he brought <br />up this matter at the last City Council meeting and requested a report from the <br />City Attorney as to possible control of this matter. Mr. Scheidig advised he <br />was researching the matter to see what regulations could be implemented to con- <br />trol pornographic materials and would try to have a report completed by December <br />13th or early January. <br /> <br /> 2. 11/29/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
