Contract for Architectural Services <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented a draft agreement for architectural services with <br /> Jack Bras and an addition to Paragraph 14 regarding additional compensation for <br /> energy use documentation which may be necessary. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 77-292, approving Plan No. 1 for the <br />Civic Center Expansion; making necessary arrangements to accommodate anyone <br />including the handicapped that has business with the City Attorney's office; <br />and approving contract for architectural services with J. Jack Bras for a fee of <br />$15,800.00 plus any costs incurred due to State law regarding energy measures, <br />be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br />Mr. Brown stated that a siren test would be conducted on October 28, 1977, <br />by the County Disaster Office. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brown stated that Zone 7 was increasing water rates to retailers by <br />approximately 7%. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTOR~NEY <br />Amendments to Section 1402 of Resolution No. 71-73 to include amon~ th~ ~rounds <br />for discipline the violation of the CORPUS Regulations <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report dated October 21, 1977, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Resolution No. 77-293, approving amendment to Section 1402 of Resolution <br />No. 71-73 to include among the grounds for discipline the violation of the CORPUS <br />regulations, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilmembers presented various Committee Reports for the information of <br />the Council. <br /> <br />Consideration of A~reement~ Re: Treatment Plant Consolidation <br /> Mayor Philcox presented the proposed Agreement between City of Pleasanton <br />and VCSD regarding treatment plant consolidation. Mr. Scheidig reviewed the <br />agreement and changes that had been made. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire, <br />to conceptually approve the Agreement between City of Pleasanton and VCSD regard- <br />ing treatment plant consolidation. <br /> <br /> 8. 10/25/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
