1 O9 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 834~ t9 rezone a 2.56 acre parcel of land located <br />between the Arroyo del Valle and the future Del Valle Parkway roughly 1~600 <br />feet east of Hopyard Road from the RM-2000 (Multip.l~,~ami~y Residential) <br />Districtto the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and to approve a <br />development plan proposing the construction. of a,.,27 pn~.t~ two-story town- <br />house developmept immediately westerly of the existing single family resi- <br />dence on the lot, and amendin.~ the Zonin~ Map of,.the City of Pleasanton <br />accordingly (Introduced 10-11-77 by a 4-1 vote) <br /> Mayor Philcox stated this ordinance was introduced on October 11, 1977, by <br />a 4-1 vote, and that it was now in order to adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, <br />that Ordinance No. 834, to rezone a 2.56 acre parcel of land located between the <br />Arroyo del Valle and the future Del Valle Parkway roughly 1,600 feet east of <br />Hopyard Road from t~e RM-2000 (Multiple Family Residential) District to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) District and to approve a development plan proposing <br />the construction of a 22 unit, two-story townhouse development immediately <br />westerly of the existing single family residence on the lot, and amending the <br />Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Repor~t~ .Re: Action Taken by the Plannin8 Commission at their meetin~ of 10-12-77 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated October 18, 1977, regarding this matter, <br />for the information of the Council. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated the Planning Commission expressed a desire to <br />review all matters related to bike trails, which heretofore has only been re- <br />viewed by the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br /> After discussion, Council concurred that the Planning Commission could review <br />items regarding bike trails simultaneously with the Park and Recreation Commission, <br />and Couhcil would receive appropriate input from the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Report~ Re: Winter Pool Use - Pleasantgn A.quatic center <br /> Mr. Caporusso presented his report dated October 19, 1977, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> ~. Jim Davis. 1423 Harvest Road, President of the Pleasanton Swim Club, <br />presented the financial situation of the Swim Club and described their efforts <br />to locate a less expensive but convenient place to swim. He stated the Club <br />had b~en unsuccessful in finding another pool for winter use, and requested that <br />the Pleasanton Swim Club be allowed to swim in Pleasanton and use the Aquatic <br /> <br /> a. 10/25/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
