CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire, <br /> that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar together with amendments <br /> thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-248, approving Claims for the month of August, <br /> 1977, in the amount of $408,976.00. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim October 31-November 5, 1977, as Pleasanton Women's Week. <br /> <br />c. Proclaim October 9-15, 1977, as Fire Prevention Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-249, accepting Project 77-3, Harris Acres Water <br /> Line, approving final payment to Slavo Rigisich, Inc., in the amount of <br /> $11,577.51, and authorizing filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-250, renewal of Holding Tank Approval for Exxon <br /> Company, 2991, for one year to July 17, 1978, subject to terms and conditions <br /> of current Holting Tank Agreement. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-251, authorizing Clayton E. Brown, City Manager, <br /> to receive State Board of Equalization communications. <br /> <br />g. Approval of Extension of CETA VI Special Project Funding, moved to item 10b. <br /> <br />h. Adoption of Ordinance No. 833, to rezone approximately 25.7 acres of land <br /> located on Johnson Industrial Drive at the intersection of 1-580 and 1-680 <br /> from the I-G, 3 acre District to the I-G, 40,000 District, and amending the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly. <br /> <br />i. Proclaim October 3-9, 1977, as Valley Volunteer Bureau Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br />j. Proclaim October, 1977, as Escrow Month in Pleasanton. <br /> <br />k. Approval of Parade Permit for Foothill High School Booster Club, moved to <br /> item lle. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> PRESENTATION BY CALTRANS, KE: STATUS OF 1-580 CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION <br /> Mr. B. C. Bachtold, Deputy District Director of Caltrans, presented slides <br />and reviewed the operation of the newly completed Route 580 Freeway between <br />Dublin and Eden Canyon Road, and the schedule of future construction units~ <br />which has not been specifically determined at this time. Council discussed <br />with Mr. Bachtold the status of construction of West Las Positas Overcrossing <br />and the importance of the completion of this project as soon as possible. Mr. <br />Bachtold stated he was aware of this fact and that Caltrans would process this <br />overcrossing application as soon as possible but he could not give any specific <br />schedule. <br /> <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one in the audience addressed the Chair. <br /> <br /> 2. 9/20/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
