MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> September 20, 1977 <br /> <br />.F~ESENTATION BY CATHY .EAMOZZI~ RE: COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE TRI-VALLEY <br />LIBRARIES <br /> Vice ~yor Kenneth Mercer introduced Cathy Camozzi, who made a presentation <br />regarding comparative analysis of the Tri-Valley Libraries. Miss Camozzi pre- <br />sented graphs which revealed the Pleasanton Library is inadequate when compared <br />tO other Libraries in the Valley. <br /> <br />C.,LL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Philcox called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and ~,~yor Philcox were present. <br />I.~. Brown, City ,.Manager, Mr. Campbell, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City <br />Attorney, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering <br />Services, Mr. Caporusso, Director of Recreation and Human Resources, and Mr. <br />Walker, Assistant to the City Manager, were present. <br /> <br />AGE~A AMEndMENTS <br /> Mr. Brown requested the following items be added to the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br />item 4i - Proclaim October 3-9, 1977, as Valley Volunteer Bureau Week <br />item 4j - Proclaim October as Escrow Month <br />item 4k - Approval of Parade Permit for Foothill High School Booster Club <br /> <br /> Mr. Brown requested that item 4g - Approval of Extension of CETA VI Special <br />Project Funding, be removed from the Consent Calendar and discussed as item 10b. <br /> <br /> Mr. Scheidig recommended that item 7d - Application of Darwin Datwyler to <br />rezone a 2.56 acre parcel of land located between the Arroyo del Valle and the <br />future Del Valle Parkway roughly 1,600feet east of Hopyard Road from the lM-2000 <br />(Multiple Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />District and to approve a development plan proposing the construction of a 22 <br />unit, two-story townhouse development immediately westerly of the existing single <br />family residence on the lot; item 12b - Approval of Final Map and Improvement <br />Plans, Tract 3359, Creeks Bend, Morrison Homes; and item 12c - Approval of <br />Heritage Tree Removal, Creeks Bend; be continued to the meeting of October 11, <br />1977, due to pending litigation that may affect these items. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes requested that item 4k - Approval of Parade Permit for <br />Foothill High School Booster Club, be removed from the Consent Calendar and <br />discussed as item lie. <br /> <br /> <br />
