Request for Holding Tank Approval for Evangelical Free Church~ 6900 Valley <br /> Trails Drive <br /> Mr. Sooby presented his report dated August 16, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br /> that Resolution No. 77-234, approving request for Holding Tank approval for <br /> Evangelical Free Church, 6900 Valley Trails Drive, subject to conditions set <br /> forth in the report of the Director of Engineering Services dated August 16, <br /> 1977, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Brown presented a progress report on the Interceptor Sewer Project stating <br /> that Kennedy Engineers were making every effort to get plans and specifications to <br /> the State before the September 30th deadline. The plans and specifications for the <br /> pipeline were almost complete and the plans and specifications for the pump stations <br /> were proceeding as rapidly as possible. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brown stated that the Board of Supervisors had approved the application for <br /> construction of an Asphalt Plant by Lone Star Industries on Stanley Boulevard, even <br /> though it was opposed by the City. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by <br /> Councilmember LeClaire, to appeal the decision of the Board of Supervisors in <br /> approving construction of an Asphalt Plant on Stanley Boulevard by Lone Star <br /> Industries, because construction of the plant would increase truck traffic on <br /> First Street in Pleasanton. <br />-- The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> Councilmember Herlihy indicated that he would attend the Board of Supervisors <br /> meeting at which time this item is considered, together with staff. <br /> <br /> Consideration of LAVW'MA REcommendation on Joint Reclamation Study with Zone 7 <br /> Mr. Brown presented a letter from LAVWMA Project Director Bob Bradford dated <br /> August 19, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by <br /> Councilmember Herlihy, to support the recommendation of a liaison committee <br /> from LAVWMA-Zone 7 regarding a Valley-wide reclamation study. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Relinquishment of 3 ft. strip on Peters Avenue - Allen Office Buildi~ <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report dated August 17, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> 7. 8/23/77 <br /> <br /> ~uuyur rnllcOX requested that <br /> <br /> <br />
