Report of the Planning Commissio.n~. Re: Santa Rite Road Name Change <br /> Mr. Sooby presented his report dated August 16, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Herlthy, <br />that Resolution No. 77-231, effecting street name changes on Santa Rita Road as <br />follows: (1) change Tassajara Road between Santa Rita Road and Route 580 to Santa <br />Rita Road; and (2) change Santa Rita Road between Tassajara Road and its north- <br />erly terminus to Old Santa Rita Road,be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> Mr. Brown presented his report dated August 17, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> The Mayor requested that salary increases for the City Attorney's office be <br />deferred until Councilmember Brandes returned. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire, <br />that Resolution No. 77-232, approving the 1977-78 management and confidential <br />employees compensation plan, not including the City Manager and City Attorney, <br />repealing Resolution No. 76-163, and amending the 1977-78 Budget accordingly, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Resolution No. 77-233, repealing Resolution No. 77-49, which established <br />minimum qualifications for the position of Fire Chief, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br />Rep0r~,.Re:...,Alameda County Planning Department Draft Report on "Sewage Disposal <br />Systems Policy Stud~' <br /> Mr. Campbell presented his report dated August 15, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Herlihy, instructing staff to contact the Alameda County Planning <br />Department requesting them to continue the matter of Sewage Disposal Systems <br />Policy Study until September 19, 1977, to allow further review by Council, to <br />place this item on the City Council agenda for review on September 13, 1977,. <br />and to also advise Alameda County Planning Department of Council's current policy <br />of opposition to package treatment plants for new residential developments. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> 6. 8/23/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
