Mayor Philcox stated the high cost for acquisition of the land at the Bernal <br /> Avenue flat site would probably prohibit location there by the County Government <br /> Center. <br /> <br /> After discussion, Council concurred that a site on Hopyard Road would be the <br /> best location for the proposed East County Government Center. <br /> <br /> Mr. John DiManto, representing Willow-West Properties, indicated that he <br /> could provide twenty acres of property at his Hopyard site for the proposed County <br /> facility at a lower than market price.
