No action was taken on this report. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Review of Bids~ Award of Contract~ Intersection Improvements Valley Avenue at <br />Santa Rita Road <br /> ~. Brown presented the report of the Director of Engineering Services dated <br />July 22, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire, <br />that Resolution No. 77-201, awarding the bid on Valley Avenue-Santa Rita Road <br />Intersection and the installation of a Traffic Signal, Project 77-2, to Oliver <br />de Silva, Inc., 22991 Clawiter Road, Hayward, in the amount of $191,811.60, and <br />authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute the contract, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Right-of-Way Acquisition and Relocation Assistance Services for Peters Avenue <br />Right-of-Way <br /> ~.
