Review of Bids and Award of Contract for Black Avenue Overlay, Project No. 78-4
<br /> Mr. Brown presented the report of t~ Director of Field Services dated June
<br />21, 1978, regarding this matter.

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler,
<br />that Resolution No. 78-169, awarding the bid for Black Avenue Overlay, Project
<br />No. 78-4, to Oliver de Silva, Inc., in the amount of $18,021.30, that the pro-
<br />ject be extended to the east line of Halcyon Court for an approximate additional
<br />amount of $2,000.00, that the Street Improvement Fund budget be amended to
<br />appropriate $22,000 for this project, and that the Mayor be authorized to exe-
<br />cute the contract, be adopted.

<br />Approva! of Plans and Specifications and Authorization to Call for Bids for the
<br />Impr~;ement of Peters Avenue - St. Mary Street to Rose Avenue
<br /> Mr. Brown advised that funds for this project and the following two projects
<br />were restricted for this use and could not be used in the General Fund.

<br />June 20, 1978, regarding this matter.

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood,
<br />that Resolution No. 78-170, approving Plans and Specifications and authorizing
<br />call for bids for the Improvement of Peters Avenue - St. Mary Street to Rose
<br />Avenue, be adopted.

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood,
<br />that Resolution No. 78-171, approving Plans and Specification and authorizing
<br />call for bids for the construction of Central Business District Storm Drainage
<br />Outfall, Project 78-3, be adopted.

<br />that Resolution No. 78-172, approving Plans and Specifications and authorizing
<br />call for bids for Traffic Signal Project, Santa Rita Road at West La.s Positas
<br />Boulevard, be adopted.
